Step 1: Complete the Online Test (52 Questions)

• The first 2 questions are short writing questions:
  • Please do not: copy and paste, use a translator , use ChatGPT or any other AI system. Your result will be marked as invalid if you do.
  • Use only the English language you know honestly and naturally, so we can assess your level correctly.
  • You are expected to have very basic English before starting a course at CEA. Even if you have very little English you must still attempt to answer.
• The next 40 are multiple choice grammar questions
• The final 10 are multiple choice vocabulary questions

Do’s

• Please ensure you complete the test carefully, by yourself and without help.
• Use only the English language you know honestly and naturally, so we can assess your level correctly.
• You are expected to have very basic English before starting a course at CEA. Even if you have very little English please use all of the words you know here. 

Don’ts

• Do not use a translator , ChatGPT or any other AI system for your writing exercises. Your result will be marked as invalid if you do and we will not be able to offer you a course.

Step 2: Online Speaking Test

• We will arrange this after your visa has been approved.
• We will send you an email with a link to a calendar where you can pick a date and time that suits you for a short ( 5 minute )online speaking test
