Join us in providing a warm and welcoming environment for international adult students as they learn English in Cork City. Our students come from all corners of the globe, bringing diverse cultures and perspectives to both the school and the city. Host families play an essential role in making each student’s stay truly special, helping to ensure they have a memorable and enriching experience throughout their time here.

Host Family Recruiting

Typically, we look for friendly and welcoming families who can provide accommodation in one of two ways: with meals or without meals.

1.Host family with meals (currently not recruiting new families)

2.Host family without meals (actively recruiting new families)

City Bus Route

We recruit families who are on the City Bus Red Zone (buses 201 to 220).

Home Visit

Thank you for considering hosting a student for Cork English Academy. It is a company requirement that our Accommodation Manager visits your home and approves facilities and also ensures you receive all the relevant information.

Rooms

If a room can be used as more than one type please list the room only once. For example if a twin room can be used as a twin or a double only list it as a twin.
Twin = 2 single beds in 1 room – suitable for friends or relatives travelling together.
Double = 1 big bed in 1 room for 2 people to share – suitable for couples only.
As part of the standard host family package hosts bring students to school on the first day and explain to them how to take the bus for the rest of their stay.
If you have any other full time lodgers, If you have health factors or family circumstances you would like to share with the school.
